Nomura Real Estate Master Fund, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Fund”) has established the following policy for protection of Individual Numbers and specific personal information (meanings of each as provided in the “Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure” (hereinafter referred to as the “My Number Act”), and hereinafter collectively referred to as “specific personal information, etc.”) in engaging in the affairs of handling specific personal information, etc. pursuant to the My Number Act.

Handling of Specific Personal Information, etc.

The Fund shall comply with the My Number Act, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and other laws and regulations, guidelines provided by the Japanese government and other rules on the handling of specific personal information, etc.
The Fund shall appropriately handle specific personal information, etc. within the legal scope of the affairs related to the Individual Number.

Security Control Measures for Specific Personal Information, etc.

The Fund shall take security control measures for the prevention of divulgation, loss or damage of specific personal information, etc. In addition, in the event of divulgation, etc., prompt rectification measures shall be implemented on a case-by-case basis.

Establishment and Implementation of Rules, etc. on Protection of Specific Personal Information, etc.

The Fund shall establish internal rules on protection of specific personal information, etc. for the appropriate collection, use, provision, keeping and disposal of specific personal information, etc., which shall be implemented by ensuring that the Fund’s directors and other relevant parties are well informed thereof. In addition, the Fund shall continuously maintain and make necessary improvements thereof.

Application and Revision of This Policy

This policy shall apply from the date it is posted on this website. In addition, this policy may be revised without advance notice in response to laws and regulations, etc., or when the Fund finds it necessary. The latest information shall be posted on this website.
